Abstract
Der WWTF – Wiener Wissenschafts- und Technologiefonds – wurde im Jahr 2002 geschaffen und soll Exzellenz in der Forschung sowie den Forschungsstandort Wien allgemein stärken. Der Fond ist spezialisiert auf größere Projektförderung, tenure-track-Stellen und ProfessorInnenstellen und konzentriert sich auf die identifizierten Stärken der Wiener Forschungslandschaft. Dieser Bericht ist Teil der Wirkungsevaluierung des WWTF, die 2013 von einem internationalen Gremium durchgeführt und durch das WWTF-Büro vorbereitet wurde. Ziel ist es die Wirkungen zu erheben, die der WWTF auf ausgewählte Sektoren des Wiener Forschungs- und Innovationsumfelds hatte.
Abstract (english)
The WWTF – the Vienna Science and Technology Fund – was created in 2002 and is designed to strengthen excellent research and the general research location Vienna. It funds larger project grants, tenure track positions and professorships and concentrates on identified strengths of the Viennese research landscape. This document is part of the 2013 impact evaluation of WWTF by an international Review Panel and has been prepared by the WWTF office. The objective for this 2013 self-evaluation report is to assess the impacts the WWTF has made on particular aspects of the Viennese research and innovation context.
