Abstract

CEEPUS programme is a long-established initiative that is nowadays highly recognised in the academic sector. There is a series of mobility programmes, operating in the CEEPUS countries. Within this diverse offer of mobility programmes, CEEPUS covers - with its regional focus - a very specific niche. Another unique selling proposition of CEEPUS is its special non-monetary funding system, which is based on national resources in a variable geometry. The findings of this study have proven that CEEPUS is highly appreciated by the target group and that it operates as a well-functioning system. The service provided by the implementing bodies (Central CEEPUS Office and National CEEPUS Offices) is in general very well-assessed. Furthermore, the users positively evaluate the easy regulatory framework as well as the online-system providing assistance for the whole work-flow - from application to reporting.
