Abstract
Im Jahr 2018 startete die Österreichische Forschungsgesellschaft (FFG) das Programm Ideen Lab 4.0. Mit dem Programm wurde ein neuer Weg in der Forschungsförderung zur Bildung interdisziplinärer Kooperationsbeziehungen mit Partner:innen entlang einer gesellschaftlich und für den Innovationsstandort Österreich relevanten Fragestellung gegangen. Das Programm Ideen Lab 4.0 zielte darauf ab, mit Hilfe der Sandpit-Methode neue interdisziplinäre Kooperationsbeziehungen zwischen Forscher*innen und Unternehmen, die gemeinsam anwendungsorientierte Projekte entwickeln und umsetzen möchten, zu stimulieren.
Für die Ideen Lab-Pilotausschreibung 2018 führte inspire research im Auftrag der FFG in den Jahren 2018 und 2019 bereits eine Begleitevaluierung durch. Mit dieser Kurz-Evaluierung werden die Ergebnisse der Begleitevaluierung ergänzt und die Dokumentation der Zielerreichung des Programms vervollständigt.
Abstract (english)
In 2018, the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) launched the Ideas Lab 4.0 programme, a new approach in research funding to establish interdisciplinary cooperative relationships with partners along a socially relevant issue for Austria as a location for innovation. The Ideas Lab 4.0 programme aimed to use the Sandpit method to stimulate new interdisciplinary cooperative relationships between researchers and companies that want to jointly develop and implement application-oriented projects. For the 2018 Ideas Lab pilot call, inspire research has already conducted an accompanying evaluation on behalf of the FFG in 2018 and 2019. This short evaluation complements the results of the accompanying evaluation and completes the documentation of the programme's achievement of objectives. also sincerely thank Klaus Schuch, who has excellently managed the business of the fteval platform since 2012 and will continue to play an important role in our community.
