Abstract
Mit diesem Bericht wird die Evaluierung von i2, dem Business Angel Netzwerk der Innovationsagentur, vorgelegt. i2 ist seit fünf Jahren aktiv und damit eines der ersten auf dem europäischen Kontinent etablierten Netzwerke. Rückblickend hat i2 einen sichtbaren Beitrag in der Entwicklung des informellen Risikokapitalmarktes in Österreich geleistet und ist zur einer wichtigen Anlaufstelle sowohl für Gründer und wachstumsorientierte Unternehmen als auch für private Investoren geworden. Die vorliegende Evaluierung reflektiert rückblickend die Aufbauphase von i2 und stellt das Instrument Business Angel Netzwerk in einen breiteren Kontext. Im Hauptteil wird i2 aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln ausgeleuchtet.
Abstract (english)
This report presents the evaluation of i2, the business angel network of the innovation agency. I2 has been active for five years, making it one of the first networks established on the European continent. In retrospect, i2 has made a visible contribution to the development of the informal risk capital market in Austria and has become an important starting point for both founders and growth-oriented companies as well as for private investors. This evaluation reflects the building phase of i2 in retrospect and puts the Business Angel Network instrument into a broader context. In the main part i2 is illuminated from different angles.
