Abstract
Die Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft (FFG) führte in den Monaten März bis Mai 2020 unter dem Titel „Emergency-Call zur Erforschung von COVID-19 im Zuge des Ausbruchs von Sars-CoV-2“ (KLIPHA-COVID19) eine Ausschreibung durch. Für die Durchführung der Ausschreibung hatten das Bundesministerium für Digitalisierung und Wirtschaftsstandort (BMDW) und das Bundesministerium für Klimaschutz, Umwelt, Energie, Mobilität, Innovation und Technologie (BMK) der FFG insgesamt 26 Mio. Euro zur Verfügung gestellt.
Ziel der Evaluierung ist es zu reflektieren, ob die Ausschreibung und die Art der Implementierung unter den Rahmenbedingungen des Jahres 2020 geeignet war die Ausschreibungsziele zu erreichen. Die Evaluierung soll Auskunft darüber geben, inwieweit es gelang, Produkte und Services zu entwickeln, die zur Bewältigung der Bedrohungen durch Covid-19 und ihrer Folgen beigetragen haben.
Abstract (english)
The Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) conducted a call for proposals from March to May 2020 entitled "Emergency Call for Research on COVID-19 in the Wake of the Sars-CoV-2 Outbreak" (KLIPHA-COVID19). For the implementation of the call, the Federal Ministry for Digitalisation and Economic Location (BMDW) and the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) made a total of 26 million euros available to the FFG. The aim of the evaluation is to reflect whether the call for proposals and the type of implementation were suitable for achieving the objectives of the call for proposals under the general conditions of the year 2020. The evaluation should provide information on the extent to which it was possible to develop products and services that contributed to overcoming the threats posed by Covid-19 and its consequences.
