Abstract
Der Österreichische Wissenschaftsfonds FWF fördert die Weiterentwicklung der österreichischen Wissenschaft und Grundlagenforschung auf internationalem Niveau. Zur Sicherung der Qualität werden Förderprogramme und -prozesse regelmäßig evaluiert. Das Projekt ist Teil des fortlaufenden Qualitätssicherungsprozesses.
Als Fortsetzung früherer Studien aus den Jahren 2002 und 2013 liefert die Online-Befragung aktuelle Einblicke in Meinungen und Einstellungen der wissenschaftlichen Community zu verschiedenen Aspekten des FWF und der österreichischen Forschungslandschaft insgesamt. Die Erhebung 2025 legt einen besonderen Fokus auf die Arbeitsbedingungen von Postdocs – sowohl allgemein als auch speziell in FWF-geförderten Projekten.
Abstract (english)
The Austrian Science Fund (FWF) supports the further development of Austrian science and basic research according to international standards. Funding programs and processes are evaluated on a regular basis to ensure quality. This project is part of the ongoing quality assurance process. Picking up where earlier studies in 2002 and 2013 left off, the online survey provides up-to-date insights into the opinions and attitudes of the scientific community on various aspects of the FWF and the Austrian research landscape as a whole. The 2025 survey places a special focus on postdocs’ working conditions – both in general and specifically in FWF-funded projects.
