Abstract
„Forschung, Innovation, Technologie: Informationstechnologie“ (FIT-IT) ist ein Impulsprogramm des BMVIT zur Förderung von Forschungskooperationen im Bereich Informationstechnologie. FIT-IT setzt sich zum Ziel, in ausgewählten Themenbereichen langfristige, radikale Innovationsprojekte zu fördern. Die Evaluierung findet Hinweise, dass das Programm auf dem richtigen Weg ist, dieser seiner Mission zu entsprechen. Gleichzeitig wird Verbesserungspotential in den Bereichen Themensetzung, Projektevaluation und bei den eingesetzten Instrumenten identifiziert. Das Evaluierungsteam empfiehlt nachdrücklich, sich mit diesen Potentialen auseinander zu setzen.
Abstract (english)
"Research, Innovation, Technology: Information Technology" (FIT-IT) is an impulse programme of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMVIT) for the promotion of research cooperations in the field of information technology. FIT-IT is committed to promoting long-term, radical innovation projects in selected thematic areas. The evaluation finds evidence that the programme is on the right path to meet this mission. At the same time, improvement potential is identified in the areas of topic setting, project evaluation and the instruments used. The evaluation team strongly recommends dealing with these potentials.
