Abstract
Dieser Bericht ist die Zusammenfassung der Ergebnisse und Empfehlungen einer Evaluierung des Wiener Wissenschafts-, Forschungs- und Technologiefonds (WWTF) durch eine internationale Gutachterkommission. Die Kommission richtete ihr Augenmerk − den vorgegebenen „Terms of Reference“ folgend – insbesondere auf die Auswirkungen der WWTF-Tätigkeit auf den beruflichen Werdegang der geförderten Wissenschaftler, auf die weitere Entwicklung von Forschungsthemen, -gemeinschaften und -organisationen sowie auf den Einfluss auf die Wiener bzw. österreichische Forschungslandschaft insgesamt.
Abstract (english)
This report presents the findings and recommendations of an evaluation of the Vienna Science and Technology Fund (WWTF) by an international Review Panel. WWTF has been assessed following the objectives specified in the Panel’s Terms of Reference requesting, in particular, to focus on the impacts on researchers’ careers, on the performance of research topics, on communities and organizations, and on the overall performance within the Viennese and Austrian research system.
