Abstract
Dieser Bericht enthält eine Analyse der wirtschaftlichen Auswirkungen des Innovation Consortium Schemas auf die teilnehmenden Unternehmen. Das IC-Schema ist ein Förderinstrument des Dänischen Rates für Technologie und Innovation in Zusammenarbeit mit der Dänischen Agentur für Wissenschaft, Technologie und Innovation. Diese Analyse untersucht 220 Unternehmen, die sich in mindestens einem Innovation Consortium beteiligt haben und verwendet dabei einen Unternehmensregisterdatensatz. In dieser Studie betrachten wir (absolutes und anteiliges) das Wachstum des Bruttogewinns und die Anzahl der MitarbeiterInnen vor und nach der Teilnahme am Programm und analysieren die Veränderungen in den Wachstumsmustern. Darüber hinaus identifizieren wir eine Kontrollgruppe von Unternehmen, die nicht teilnehmen, die aber an die Teilnehmer ähnlich sind in Bezug auf Größe, Branche und Region und dem Vergleich dienen.
Abstract (english)
This report presents an analysis of the economic impact of the Innovation Consortium scheme on participating firms. The IC scheme is a subsidy scheme granted by the Danish Council for Technology and Innovation in cooperation with the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation. This analysis follows 220 firms which have participated in at least one Innovation Consortium using a firm-register dataset. In this study, we consider (absolute and percentage wise) growth in gross profit and the number of employees both before and after programme participation and analyse the changes in the growth patterns. Moreover, we identify a control group of firms that do not participate, but which are similar to the participants in terms of size, industry, and region.
